NCsoft's fantasy MMORPG Aion is now live in North America. It's expected to launch in Australia/New Zealand tomorrow and in Europe on September 25th.Aion takes place in the world of Atreia, where a battle wages between the angelic Elyos and demonic Asmodians. One of the most highly touted features of the game, besides aerial combat, is the PvPvE gameplay. High-level players must wrest control of strongholds and artifacts in the Abyss from NPC's and opposing players.The MMORPG first launched in Korea in November 2008. In a recent interview, NCSoft told Blend Games that the North America/European version includes all of the post-launch content released for the original Korean version. They also stated that aion gold players will continue to release "more content both in and out of game."
