We say before all else you should do all quests, you can and get to level 50+ as soon as possible. Do not worry about Aion gold or weapons at this point. Just get level 50+. You do not actually yet need any good items. Main time wasters are the quests when you need to find other players to help you on certain quests they are not possible at your level to solo in
Just skip these. For example the forsaken abbey quests, blood gallery, crafty baron, nacre, mystic alter quests. You can make up for the XP they give by doing dailies. It may take an extra weeks worth of dailies to get to the experience points but it is known that new players can spend months getting to level 30-40. They wait for their friends or look for people to try doing these unnecessary quests. So just do with the weapons and gear your get off quest rewards for now.
