9Dragons :Dark Hermit Rules

Dark Hermit Rules & Regulations

Warriors, I am placing these tentative rules for Lord Mara's evil creation so that players may comment upon them before they are set in stone.

1. Dark Hermit is to be considered a Mob. He is a killer. He cannot be reasoned with. Confront him at your own risk.

2. Dark Hermit shall attempt to slay The Hermit whenever and wherever they shall meet.

3. GM: The Hermit shall hereby remove his GM tag and become mortal for the duration of this Event, which is 30 Days beginning Saturday, January 16th.

4. Dark Hermit may slay or spare anyone he wishes by Combat. By Combat, I mean without the use of his Venom Skill. On Nirvana and Bardo this is obviously restricted by gameplay to Bloody Plain and Cave Of The Conqueror. On Asura, he may slay at will by Combat at any time; however he is restricted from Combat in Hefei and Starter Maps (with the exception of all Clan Bases, which he may enter at will).

5. Dark Hermit is equipped with the always fatal Venom Skill; however, he may only use this skill during posted "Witching Hours." All Witching Hours will be 3X EXP Events. Players play at your own risk! Venom Skill will basically kill anyone, so if you see him, I suggest you run. (Other Events may also be designated as Witching Hours, beware!)

6. It is the duty of one designated VGM to hunt Dark Hermit during every Witching Hour. They will be granted no special knowledge of his whereabouts. They may only use equal force against him. If Dark Hermit uses his Venom Skill in their presence, against them or another Player, they may retaliate.

7. If a Witching Hour does not create a raised XP Event, for whatever reason, at a given time, it is not considered a Witching Hour, and thus the Dark Hermit MAY NOT use Venom, until such time as raised XP truly begins.

8. If Dark Hermit is caught using his Venom Skill during Non-Witching Hours, he shall be banned.

9. During a time to be designated during each weekend (TBD), Dark Hermit may request a TGW Spawn in the location of his choosing.

10. Dark Hermit will have a Possessed VGM at his disposal TBD.
